ATASDA: Textiles and Surface Design Open Day and South Group Meeting
ATASDA members enjoy sharing all things textile, including workshops, guest speakers, exhibitions, social meetings, challenges, sharing skills and knowledge, visiting galleries and networking, and are nurtured in their textile and surface design journey.
Members use many techniques – various types of dyeing such as eco-dyeing and indigo, felting, printing and mark-making, hand and machine stitching, weaving, beading, knitting and knotting, crochet and embellishment. Unusual materials such as metal, paper, cloth, fibres and plastics are utilised in ingenious ways.
Members encourage each other to extend their creative boundaries. Come and enjoy seeing demonstrations and artists at work.
Meet members, book into a workshop, or join ATASDA. All levels of experience are welcomed and encouraged! Meetings in Sutherland second Saturday of each month.
Meetings in Epping: Wednesday 21 October, Sunday 25 October, Sunday 8 November, Saturday 5 December, check website for event times
